Are you a keen Windows System Engineer, looking to take the next step in your career? Do you have good experience on the Windows stack, including Active Directory, Exchange and Office 365? Do you have an interest in finance and would like to work for a global hedge-Fund? If so, this could be a great role for you.
My client, a forward-thinking, modern Hedge-fund is looking for a windows system Engineer to join their team. Ideally, you will have between 1-5 years’ experience. Look to learn and grow in a fantastic environment, learning from the industries best! The ideal candidate will work on enterprise applications. This is a critical role in the It department.
The Windows System Engineer will be responsible for:
- Deploying and supporting enterprise Windows Systems following best practices
- Applying patches and upgrades
- Performing system maintenance
- Monitoring system performance
- Working as a part of the IR team on large system projects
- Managing backup solutions
The Windows System Engineer will have:
- 1-5 years’ experience as a Windows system Engineer or a similar role
- Management on Windows Servers including Active Directory, Exchange and Office 365
- Knowledge of Aws is advantageous
- A can-do attitude and thirst to learn
- An interest in financial services
- Experience troubleshooting systems
