Our client, a reputable name in the insurance space, are seeking a Technical Lead to spearhead a team of exceptional engineers and ensure the successful delivery of various projects. With numerous greenfield projects utilizing the latest technology, this is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a key point of their growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of world class software engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Provide technical leadership, ensuring adherence to best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle, collaborating with product owners and stakeholders.
- Design and implement scalable software solutions using .NET, Azure, and Angular.
- Drive technical direction and adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
- Ensure robust testing and quality assurance, managing technical risks effectively.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and seek opportunities to improve team processes.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Assist in resource planning and support recruitment during the growth phase.
About You:
- Over 5 years of extensive experience in software development with proven leadership and team-guiding experience.
- Strong background in mentoring, exceptional communication skills, and a clear focus on event-driven Back End systems.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in .NET and key software design patterns and principles.
- Extensive hands-on experience in software development and system architecture.
- Proficiency in developing clean, efficient, tested, and well-documented code.
- Extensive experience in designing microservices and event-driven architectures (eg, Azure functions).
- Solid understanding of Front End frameworks (eg, Angular 2+).
- Proven experience with cloud-native solution development (preferably in Azure).
