On behalf of a rapidly growing payments solution provider, I am seeking an experienced End to End Testing Engineer with extensive Automation experience to join their fast-paced team. A background in a payment’s environment and payment related testing tools is essential.
Due to the company operating a hybrid work policy, you must be office based 3 days per week and within commutable distance of their London offices.
Responsibilities:
- You will be involved at various stages throughout the product development life cycle, from definition of the solution, through iterative development phases and platform QA, into End to End test and validation, followed by Pilot where needed and into operational BAU.
- Participate in the Solution process for discovery, analysis and E2E testing requirements
- Work with stakeholders in Product, Solution and Development teams to design and execute End to End testing plans
- Responsible for defining test success criteria and report to key stakeholders on the status of test cycle progress (both internal and external stakeholders)
- Feedback on issues discovered to PM’s, Solution and Development teams and help to troubleshoot
- Act as the authorised team that signs off the work and allows the project to progress to pilot phase
- Help to support production delivery/pilot phase if needed
- Complete projects as part of a team collaboratively or independently
- Responsible for maintaining testing toolkits including environments (portals, databases, terminals etc), test tools-simulators and test cards
- Continually enhance the Test process, applying learnings from previous projects to improve the testing delivery process
- Work with the PMO team to ensure projects are completed in line with the delivery roadmap.
Skills/Experience required:
- A Background of 5 years (minimum) in Automated end to end testing is essential
- Experience in a technical payments function is essential
- You will ideally have a good understanding of the payment’s ecosystem, incl. authorisation and clearing flows and processes
- Knowledge of card associations and card brand testing would be advantageous
- You will have industry knowledge of different test approaches, and you will have had direct experience of test automation
- You will have knowledge of test simulators and other tools (SoapUI, Postman, Astrex, UL/Fime)
- You will have enhanced level Excel skills including functions such as pivot tables and vlookup
- You will be able to provide clear and concise communication, both written and verbal
- Display proven time management skills and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines
- Ensure the use of best practices and lesson learned from previous projects to develop process to improve productivity and efficiency
- Willing to take responsibility and make sound decisions
- Able to quickly and dynamically shift priorities as per business and market needs.
