Spencer Rose is urgently recruiting for an E-Commerce Project Manager for a Global Publishing House based in Central London, however, offer flexible working. This is a unique opportunity for the project manager to join a tech-driven organisation where they will be responsible for managing the financial & operational aspects of one of their critical platforms, with a focus on being instrumental in the software development life cycle (SDLC). They will track and forecast the actual budget, specifying purchase orders, and managing invoices, business case creation and tracking, facilitating the on-boarding of internal and external resources and stakeholder management through building relationships across numerous functions. The Project Manager will work to reduce and/or remove barriers to progress. This includes collaboration with technical teams, the internal team, local business groups and broader projects teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full end-to-end lifecycle for own projects using Agile SCRUM methodology
- Ensure all projects within the portfolio are compliant with project delivery lifecycle stages
- Report on project and program status and its overall health
- Manage the recording and resolution of issues and risks
- Supporting management of financials of multi-million-dollar programs
- Collaborate with finance, order fulfilment, vendor management and other key program and project managers to ensure the program delivers to key milestones and financial commitments
- Manage payment of invoices and goods receipting work completed, updating internal systems and financial trackers with Actual and Re-forecasted amounts to ensure accurate reporting and alignment of spend to approved budget
- Manage all vendor processes, from quote, budget alignment, vendor set up to payments and invoice processing
- Collaborate with key program and project managers, to ensure the program delivers to key milestones and financial commitments
- Collaborate on gathering project and program information for Monthly Ops reviews
- Manages all metrics and status related to the platform, on program deliverables reporting
Experience/Skills required:
- Experience in Agile SCRUM project delivery and SDLC delivery
- Previous experience with the Product Team, UX Designers and Developers
- Strong team building capability and wide networking and relationship building skills
- Open, positive attitude promoting confidence and credibility to peers, project, stakeholders and all levels of management.
- Ability to influence peers, project team, sponsors and other functions, ability to give direction to the team based on high-level instruction
