Reporting to: Digital Lead Tech
Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary: up to £55,000
On behalf of a Spencer Rose key client, I am seeking an experienced Digital Tester to join their established team. The Digital Tester will sit in their digital tech function and be responsible for delivering a mix of both automation and manual testing. This team is truly focused on embracing continuous learning while developing new skills. This is a fantastic opportunity, and the successful person will continue to assist the team in their journey towards a fully automated environment across the business. Based on location, the successful candidate must have full driving license.
Primary responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Management and execution across Functional & End to End Testing, Regression Testing (Functional), Performance Testing, Security Testing, Accessibility testing
- Production and maintenance of test cases/scripts
- Management and co-ordination of testing responsibilities during the release process across DEV/UAT/LIVE
- Manual testing for functional and non-functional tests (both ticket and regression testing)
- Exploratory testing on different environments and platforms
- Identify test tools, frameworks and test harnesses needed to ensure successful testing of deliverables within specified timescales
Essential experience, skills and qualifications:
- Functional and end-to-end testing across browsers/devices using tools such as BrowserStack, Postman
- Security and Accessibility testing
- Use of SQL, GIT, Bitbucket, other source/version control tools
- Familiar with Agile work environment (Kanban or Scrum) and related ceremonies
- Utilising workloads+ tools such as DevOps, TestRail
- Experience of collaborative working in a development environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate in continual development of test methods, tools and techniques
- Ability to teach and motivate others within the team
- Ability to prioritise and (re)organise workload and deliverables.
- A good understanding of the overall web development process
Desirable skills:
- Use of Azure DevOps suite
- Automation testing using tools such as SpecFlow, Selenium Webdriver, C#, Visual Studio, NUnit
- Performance testing using tools such as JMeter
- Understanding of CMS/CRM systems like Sitecore/MS Dynamics – C360
