On behalf of a key Spencer Rose client, I’m seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer with a background in supporting a Windows, Citrix and O365 environment. You will be responsible for delivering first and second line support while meeting SLA and Performance targets.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver an excellent level of first and second line support & service for colleagues.
- Provide On-Site service and support, including user hardware request fulfilment and incident resolution.
- Provide remote service and support to colleagues ( Service Desk’ service) via various channels (phone, email and tickets raised by Self Service Portal, as well as Chat support).
- Conduct Service responsibilities as per the Major Incident Process and Procedure and complete investigation and actions as relevant as part of Problem Management.
- Contribute to the effective running of the Service function, playing a part in workload management.
- Working within the desktop support team you will get exposure to all elements of the business while expanding on your technical ability across service levels.
- This team gives you the chance to work on a variety of different services as well as working with stakeholders across all 3 sites.
Experience/Skills required:
- Previous experience in providing remote and on-site desktop/service and support including first and second line level
- Sound technical knowledge and understanding of infrastructure and applications
- Previous background supporting a Windows and Citrix environment
- Supporting and understanding Office 365 Front End applications across the entire suite
- Understanding and background supporting and servicing AV equipment and Printer authentication software.
