The company
This rapidly growing business, headquartered in the USA, is looking to expand their UK and EMEA security team through hiring an Information Security Engineer, reporting to the Information Security Manager. This business are a remote first business, and looking to support students to access E-learning delivered in an engaging and meaningful way.
The role:
The successful Information Security Engineer will:
- Work with stakeholders across systems administration, networks and the data centre team to ensure that all security updates are deployed appropriately
- Manage the deployment of enterprise level production systems to ensures that the business assets are secure
- Work in collaborative continuous improvement pattern to ensure vulnerabilities are managed and that a root cause analysis is undertaken in all relevant situations
- Stay abreast of new security tooling to ensure the best experience for all users and clients
Information Security Engineer
Your profile:
To be considered for the role of an Information Security Engineer, you must have:
- A degree in a technology-related field
- At least 3 years’ experience in protection and support of enterprise level IT infrastructures
- A varied experience in in InfoSec, IT and Networking
- Familiarity with security and risk frameworks for example, NIST, COBIT, ISO27001
- Experience securing OS and enterprise level solutions
It is desirable for the successful Information Security Engineer to have:
- Relevant profession certifications eg CISA, CISSP
- Experience of working in a SaaS based company
- Experience in education or educational technology
