On behalf of a Docklands based financial services organisation, I am seeking a Process Mapper (Technology). This role will help Technology Division better understand its existing processes and the associated key risks and controls.
Due to the organisation operating a Hybrid work model, you must be within commutable distance of their Docklands offices and willing to be office based at least two days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Through review of existing documentation and by meeting key stakeholders develop and agree process maps for key Technology processes.
- These process maps should identify key controls, risks, and areas which remediation is required.
- Track and report to key stakeholders on the status of process mapping.
- Contribute to the develop of a prioritized plan for which Technology areas should be a process mapping priority.
- Engage with the stakeholders on the outcome of the process mapping so any process gaps or weaknesses can be logged and addressed.
- Assist stakeholders with the design of remediation to address any process gaps or weakness identified and adjust process maps accordingly.
- Develop process mapping standards and guidance which can be used by others to maintain and create additional process maps.
Experience/Skills required:
- Previous experience of process mapping Technology related processes.
- Understanding of risks and control frameworks, especially in the context of Technology and Financial Services.
- Ability to facilitate workshops with small groups to identify process steps and validate draft process maps.
- Clear and confident communicator with the ability to communicate with senior management.
