Spencer Rose are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our client’s growing organisation. The role offers the opportunity to lead the data engineering strategy and delivery across several clients projects, and within the internal software development team. Our client is a rapidly growing, dynamic London based firm providing independent consultancy services and bespoke IT solutions to both top-tier and boutique investment clients within the private capital markets industry.
The Senior Data Engineer will have the following Responsibilities:
- Leading complex projects, providing strategic insight and producing project specifications
- Identifying and advising on end-to-end solutions and appropriate tools most suited for each client
- Building scalable data warehouses
- Owning the technical input to client governance documents and providing technical leadership, subject matter expert support and mentoring to junior colleagues.
The Senior Data Engineer must have the following Skills:
- Recognised computer science or computer engineering qualification
- Experience of the Financial Services sector is a plus
- Proven track record of managing senior stakeholders
