6 month initial contract
London Based – 2 day’s per week in the office
Spencer Rose are partnered with a leading Financial Services organisation who are on the look out for a Senior IT Security Architect. Within this role the Senior IT Security Architect will be working with the Enterprise Architect implementing the security architecture strategy and framework across the business enterprise and providing technical security guidance and design for all business related products and services.
The Senior Security Architect will have the following roles and responsibilities –
- Work in collaboration with Security Architects to build security into on-prem infrastructure and architecture designs
- Assess SaaS and IaaS cloud services and virtualization technologies to provide direction and input for the evolution of the Cloud Security Framework where necessary
- Keep up to date with new and emerging security threats & assess effectiveness of current controls to identify opportunities for program improvement
The Senior Security Architect will have the following skills/experience –
- Minimum 5+ years security architecture expertise and be able to demonstrate a broad understanding of multiple security domains
- Extensive knowledge of Firewalls, IPS, DLP, proxies, SIEM, & endpoint protection software
- Strong documentation and report writing skills on both a technical and business level
- Must have industry experience working within Financial Services, Banking or Insurance
- Previous background with Risk Assessments and Gap Analysis
