On behalf of a Leading City of London based financial services organisation, I am seeking a Trade Floor Support Analyst to manage and support business critical, 24×7 Real Time applications to identify issues and potential problem areas
Due to the organisation operating a hybrid working model, you will be required to work three days per week from their London offices on a shift basis, therefore you will need to be UK based and within a commutable distance of the City of London.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and support complex in-house applications
- Proactively manage business critical, 24×7 Real Time applications to identify issues and potential problem areas
- Interact with various internal IT support functions; Development, Quality Assurance, Operations to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
- Actively identify incidents and as necessary, manage the incident resolution process to provide service recovery and manage client communications and expectations in respect to incident resolution
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies (ie change management, IT security standards, release management, incident management)
- Work with all parties to provide services to agreed SLAs
- Fulfil any additional/ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business
- Responsible for communicating with Analytics management in an effective manner
Skills/Experience required:
- Previous experience in a Trade Floor Support role covering 1st line responsibilities.
- Knowledge of trading systems is required eg, Bloomberg (preferable)
- Experienced in operating in high pressure environments
- Good understanding of Windows server infrastructure & technology (eg IIS, telnet, tracert, computer management, etc.) is essential
- Good understanding of high-level Networking systems (eg firewalls, load-balancers, etc.) is essential.
